Job Description
Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality, direct patient care. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team.
Essential Functions- Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, consistent with policies and procedures of the unit.
- Responsible for direct day-to-day care of assigned residents/patients including dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding.
- Documents care provided as directed in a manner consistent with guidelines.
- Maintains patients’ environment/work area/equipment, and communicates any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department/unit personnel.
- Complete and maintain required number of CNA educational hours.
- Participation in select unit quality monitoring activities under the direction of the Unit Manager or Nurse Leader.
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course
- CRT-Nursing Assistant - PROMETRIC Prometric required
- CRT-Nursing Assistant - PROMETRIC Prometric required
- LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross required
